Meet Nico and Oakley!

During quarantine, I've been staying with my girlfriend in Winston Salem, and over the last few weeks we've been helping her parents take care of her childhood dogs: Nico and Oakley.

They're brothers born from the same litter and recently celebrated their eighth birthday. And while they can certainly be high maintenance and get on our nerves from time to time, we've been so happy to incorporate them into our own little family.

Nico

Nico may be the smaller of the two dogs, but he's definitely the feistier one. He's an affectionate little fellow and always needs to be the center of attention. But how could you not pay attention to him with a cute little face like that?!

Oakley

Even though he's bigger, Oakley is the baby of the house. He's very skittish and doesn't trust easily (during the day he runs away from me like I'm some sort of evil monster). But when it's night time he's even more warm and loving than Nico. He always likes to sandwich himself in between us.
