Let's get started

Hey guys! Don't worry, I'm not turning into one of those "Instagram bloggers." I'm just looking for a new outlet to continue producing content and keep my skills sharp.

Today is my last day at Sporting News, which is obviously bittersweet. Our internship was supposed to run until August, but given the state of the economy, DAZN had to furlough several team members at SN, and I was one of them.

I'm still thankful for the opportunity to work with such a great team at SN. I learned a lot these past four months, and now that I'm currently unemployed I'm hoping to use this free time to pursue some personal projects. I'm not entirely sure what that's going to look like but I have lots of ideas. Maybe starting with this blog can help me pin a few of them down.

Thanks to everyone again who's helped me get this far in my career — professors, coworkers, editors, friends and family. Y'all are dope as hell.
